Agreed-value insurance for your car or your fleet

A payout that matches what you agreed, not a table: agree €45,000 and, if the car is a total loss, you receive €45,000. A registered insurance intermediary makes you the offer.

No unnecessary red tape: you tell us what you want to insure, we pass your request to a registered insurance intermediary who advises you and makes you an offer, and the insurer issues the policy once you give the go-ahead.

You tell us about your car

In four steps you tell us what you want to insure, the cover you are looking for and the vehicle's details: model, age, approximate value and use.

An intermediary advises you

We pass your request to an insurance intermediary registered with the Spanish insurance supervisor (DGSFP). They advise you, set the value and the cover with you (excess, main dealer repairs, glass, courtesy car or breakdown assistance across Europe) and make you an offer.

The insurer issues the policy

If the offer suits you, you take it out with the intermediary and the insurer issues the policy, with transit covered if the car is coming from abroad. AUTO JUNG is neither an insurer nor an intermediary: we just put you in touch.

Agreed-value insurance: what it is and when it pays off

What you are really paid after a theft or a total loss, and when it is worth it.

Standard policies pay out the “market value”, applying theoretical depreciation. With agreed value, the amount you would receive in the event of a total loss or theft is set in the contract before the policy is issued, based on the vehicle's actual condition.

It covers the vehicle against damage in transit, from loading at source until it is unloaded at your address. If you are also going to drive it, it is worth taking out the motor policy so it is active as soon as you receive the plates; the intermediary will explain how.

Yes. You can ask for the policy to include free choice of repairer and genuine parts, with no obligation to use approved repairers.

Yes. Fleet policies with the same terms for every unit and quick handling of additions and removals when you renew vehicles. If you also buy or sell batches in Europe, the transport can be covered too. More under European fleets.

Yes. When the value is set, factory options and approved accessories (wheels, brakes, aero parts, upholstery) are listed, so they are included in the insured value.

No. AUTO JUNG does not sell insurance: if you ask us to, we pass your request to a registered insurance intermediary, who advises you and makes you an offer for the policy. Whether the policy is issued always depends on the insurer and on the valuation of the vehicle.
