Timescales, costs and what we need from you to get started.
It depends on the origin, whether the car has already been found and processing times at the DGT (the Spanish traffic authority). Once we have your request we give you a firm estimate for purchase, transport and registration. The first reply usually arrives within a few business hours.
Within the EU: VAT depending on the seller's tax scheme, the Spanish registration tax (which depends on emissions) and the DGT and ITV fees, plus transport. From outside the EU, customs duties and import VAT are added. Everything is itemised in the proposal so there are no surprises.

The car is insured during transport. For driving it, we can arrange an agreed-value policy ready for the day you receive the car. More information under Insurance.
It depends on the car and its emissions. On top of the price of the car come transport, the Spanish registration tax, homologation and ITV, DGT fees and number plates, and our service fee. Manufacturer warranties are valid throughout the European Union, so a car under warranty keeps it when brought to Spain. We confirm this for each car before buying.
Yes, although customs duties, import VAT and customs formalities are added, and homologation can be more complex. Before we start, we tell you whether it is worth it compared with an equivalent car from within the European Union.
